Odour nuisance
With a booster station, odour nuisance can occur. In order to avoid odour nuisance, proper maintenance is necessary. In addition, measures may be needed to prevent odour nuisance.
Measures that can be taken to prevent odour nuisance are the application of air treatment filters such as a biofilter or activated carbon. There is no solid odour standard but odour nuisance should be avoided as much as possible or reduced to an acceptable level.
