Businesses have to deal with the environment. The Establishments and activities Decree BES (IAB BES) and the Ministrial regulation establishments and activities BES (RIA BES) lays down environmental rules for all businesses in the Caribbean Netherlands.

Organisation

The Information Point for the Environment Caribbean Netherlands was established in 2022 on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Directorate for Environment and International (DGMI).

The aim of the Information Point for the Environmental  is to provide companies with information about the environmental rules of the Establishments and activities Decree BES on Bonaire and later on Sint Eustatius. This information includes up-to-date practical infornation on environmental rules. This is done by bringing together knowledge about legislation and regulations and expertise on topics such as the environment, soil, water, noise and safety.

Bonaire

The Information Point for the Environment on Bonaire is a collaboration between the Public Entity of Bonaire, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the Chamber of Commerce of Bonaire.
