Applications for environmental permits on Sint Eustatius
As of April 1st, 2024, the Public Entity St. Eustatius has commenced the implementation of the new Environmental Law. This significant development aims to enhance environmental protection and sustainability on the island. The time frame for the implementation of a type 3 establishment is from April 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024.
We have started the application process for all Type 3 establishments, which are subject to more stringent environmental regulations due to their potential impact. Business owners and operators are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new requirements and ensure timely compliance.
