Notification
If your business is a type 2 company, you need to notify the Executive Council at the start of the activity, or when changes occur in the activities. The activities covered by type 2 companies can be found in Annex 1 of the IAB BES.

When to notify
Do your company’s activities fall under type 2 of the IAB BES? Then you must notify to the competent authority (the Executive Council) no later than 4 weeks before setting up or changing your business.
What data do you need for the notification
You submit the following information:
- your name, adress, telephone number and e-mail adress
- name and adress of your company
- the cadastral parcel number of your company
- the registration number at the Chamber of Commerce
- the expected date of start or change of your business
- the nature and extent of your ompany activities
- the number of the building permit
You do not need to report when a notification has been made prior and the change does not deviate from the data of the previous notification.

You notify the competent authority (the Executive Council).
